Toyota has issued a recall for up to 6.5 million cars due to a problem with the power window switch.
The company said a fire could be started due to an inconsistency in lubrication for two parts within the power window master switch. If not lubricated properly, debris that settled on the two parts could ignite the car.
The recall will affect 2.7 million cars in North America, 1.2 million in Europe, and 600,000 in Japan.
The models affected by the recall include Yaris/Vitz subcompact, Corolla, Camry, Matrix, RAV4, Highlander, Tundra, Sequoia and Scion xB produced between January 2005 and December 2010.
