A college basketball coach has been accused of setting up a secret video recording of female students.
Four of the alleged victims are suing Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia. Collins Murphy, an Assistant Basketball Coach at the school and the resident director of the Kincaid Hall dorm is being accused of setting up the camera in the dorm’s bathrooms. It was discovered after one of the women was forwarded a photo of herself.
In a statement, Alderson Broaddus University said, “Alderson Broaddus University is unable to comment on pending litigation, except to state that it has fully cooperated with law enforcement in the investigation of the matters alleged in the civil actions. Further, Mr. Collins Murphy has not been employed by the University for over three years. Student safety and well-being is the top priority of the University, and University officials have taken action to ensure that there is no threat of harm to our students or other members of our campus community.”
