Madame Tussauds has just revealed a wax figure of Nicki Minaj inspired by her Anaconda music video. The wax Minaj will be on display at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas museum.
The museum brags, “The Madame Tussauds studio began creating Minaj in February, taking nearly six months to create. More than 20 artists sculpted the figure that was inspired by her popular “Anaconda” video. Based from over 300 precise body measurements, Minaj’s figure was first sculpted in clay by hand and covered in a plaster cast. Once the clay was removed from the cast, the wax was poured in and allowed to cool. Finally, the figure was fitted with acrylic eyes and teeth; hairs on the head and face were inserted individually by hand and countless layers of paints and tints were applied to build up skin tones – all to achieve her astonishingly lifelike figure and her now famous pose.”
