Arguing With Madmen

This is just one more example of why we simply lose when we engage the right one-to-one on issues of policy. These are people who believe the modest benefits people receive from social security are “lavish.” These people are the descendants intellectually of those who opposed the reforms of the turn of the century in America. They think that the working class man or woman should simply be thankful for whatever trinkets the robber baron chooses to distribute, and anything more than that is the height of insolence.

How much good does it do to pretend as if these people have anything honorable in mind? It doesn’t.
